No 70 Yuka Fukuda and Adam West Mural. 9x12 Acrylic on Paper. (This image is cropped in detail of the original).
Not really SFW, I am posting a crop of the newest painting. This was commissioned over year ago by my good friend Gloria Noto. I can happily say that I needed that much time to get my skills up to par to make this painting for her.
I want to give a big thank you to Gloria Noto for asking me to contribute to the Manipulation issue of Work Magazine. It's a beautiful magazine with incredible work by artists and photographers including, Kate Moennig, i0 Tillet Wright, Sandy Kim, Tasya Van Ree, Lola Dupre, David Scott Stone and Dan Monick. Check the website and blog at theworkmag.com. There you can find info on the issue and contributors.
I want to also thank the friends and fans who came out the launch party. It was great night with a kickass performance by We are the World, plus the sounds of DJ David Scott Stone. It was honor to have my work manipulated into vines derived from the issue and especially enjoyed the mix tape as my take away.
I have my date correct this time. Today at 7- 10 pm at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood CA the long awaited launch party of the Manipulation issue for The Work Magazine.
You must RSVP to attend, so here is the info on there blog:
