@retoyma Six years ago I photographed casting, style out, and runway shows at NYFW ss11. That experience gave an insight on the industry on multiple levels. At night in my hotel room I started a series that keep returning to- portraits of the models from the behind scenes candids I shot during the day. The human and imperfect beauty is what I want to convey in paint. Hopefully my audience sees their vulnerability and strength simultaneously through my fashion portraits.
